The secondary side of the current transformer should not be opened during operation. Once the secondary side is open, the insulation will be broken down because of excessive iron loss, high temperature, or the rise of the secondary winding voltage, and the risk of high voltage electric shock will occur. Therefore, when switching instruments, such as switching ammeter, active meter, reactive power meter, etc. should be first short current circuit after the meter conversion. When the meter is adjusted, first connect it to the two loop, then remove the short wiring and check whether the meter is normal. If the spark is found when the short wiring is removed, the current transformer should be re-connected immediately, and the short wiring can be removed only when the measuring instrument circuit is found to be open. When removing the short connection of the current transformer, it should stand on the insulating pad, and consider the protection device of the circuit of the current transformer to be stopped. After the work is finished, the protection device can be put into operation. 2. If the current transformer has a buzzing sound, should check whether the internal core is loose, can tighten the core bolt. 3. One end of the two side of the current transformer must be reliably grounded. 4. When the insulation resistance of the secondary coil of the current transformer is less than 10-20 MHz, it must be dried to make the insulation resume before it can be used. It is very convenient to find the fault of current transformer in time, and it is very troublesome to repair it if it is completely damaged, and the price will be very expensive, so we should pay attention to it in operation. |
